Week 1 - podcast research
I am going to include in my pod cast is;
- Music
- Intro
- Dialog
- Sound effects
Week 2 - listen to podcasts
I started to listen to podcasts to know what to include in my podcast. I used itunes and the internet, I have looked at a range of podcasts from all talking, music and news. I mostly listened to music podcasts because I don't like listening to all talking podcasts for a long time.
Week 3 - you tube
I started to search for the songs I wanted to include and downloaded them. I had to chose the video with lyrics because it wouldn't of worked if it was the real video. I used youtube mp3 converter to download the songs onto a playlist to use in my podcast.

Week 4 - recording
I started to record my voice for the podcast by going outside where it was quite but when I listened to it back I could hear other things in the background.
Week 5 - starting the podcast
This week I started put the songs on my podcast and putting sound effects with the songs so when they finished it wouldn't just stop for a bit it would play the next song or have a sound effect before the next song to make it more interesting.

Week 6 - updating my blog and putting my voice into my podcast
This week i updated my blog from the last couple of weeks. this week I also made my voice different by using sound effects to make it sound better. Once my podcast was finished I added artwork and exported the podcast into a mp3. I uploaded he podcast on to sound cloud so i can make it to share it on my blog. I don't like the idea of hearing my voice on a voice recorder. i selection my favorite songs and put them into the order i wanted.

for this assessment i had to make a podcast, it could be any type of podcast you wanted. I did a podcast on music I chose 10 of my favorite tracks and put them into a order of songs i wanted them to play in. I recorded my voice in a voice recorder and said everything i had wrote down for putting in my podcast. i did it by using sound effects, i chose a chipmunk voice because it sounded better then all the other effects. i used Garage band to make my podcast, i uploaded all of my voice recordings and put them into my podcast and where to put them so after a song you could hear what the next song would be. i am happy with how the podcast came out because i thought it wouldn't be that good but it was better then what i thought it would be. if i did this again i would go into a quite room and do my recordings so that other sounds from where i did it outside you could hear he wind and cars and others sounds in to the recorder.
