Week 1/2/3 : research.
this week i did some research on TV adverts. i can't decide on what company to do for my advert. the two companies diet coke and Kit Kat. after watching loads more adverts i chose to do Kit Kat because i like Kit Kat's and i have a good simple advert. next i needed to do my story board i did a worker buying a Kit Kat then eating it then i did more people snapping them and eating them. at the end the slogan i chose from Kit Kat is break time , anytime.

Week 4 : videos
this week i went around the college and took four different videos of people have a kit kat and acting stressed during the job they are doing. the places i went to film is :
- library
- two in a classroom
- reception
i decided to do the video in reception because i think it is the best one for my advert.
Week 5 : movie.
this week i started making my TV advert by going on to imovie and dragging the clips on it.
I then edited my music so that there wasn't a big gap of music at the start but the music doesn't go straight on it waits i second then kicks in with the music. once i was done editing it i dragged it on to my advert and went straight on so you can play it when ever you don't have to wait a long time for it to go on to the advert. i then went on to www.google.co.uk and searched for the logos of KitKat and chose the one i want, i then edited it so that i had my slogan on it then i flatted it and re saved it then i dragged it on to my advert and got the music to fade out near the end so it doesn't just stop at the end of the advert.

I liked making the advert and deciding what type of advert i would like it based on. I chose KitKat because I like them and I had a few good ideas to do an advert on them. I didn't like going and asking some students to help me make one because I don't like talking to people I don't know. But it wasn't as good because I chose the library but one student was going to take out books but he chose about six books and I had a few other students helping but after that the video was very long so I decided not to do that one. i am happy about the advert because i had two others i had done but they where not as good as the one i did do because it was a it funny when the lady spun around on her chair after having a bite of the kitkat. if i did this project again i would change the advert it was based on for example instead of kitkat i could do lindor chocolate or a different type of advert because it would be good to see how it would turn out.
