I have chosen to do a event poster for Bonfire night. cause I have been to a bonfire night and taken pictures for this assignment.
I started doing my research by looking at event posters on the internet to give me ideas.
week 1 - poster idea's
idea's which are going to be on my poster.

- entry prices - FREE!!!!!
week 2 -logos
this week i searched for logos of companies for fireworks.
i searched this because like fireworks and bonfire night with fireworks so i looked for logos for fireworks
week 3 - images
this week i took the pictures into collage and uploaded them on the computer, these are some of the pictures that i have taken,
week 4 - poster
this week we started making our poster by putting images that we have taken outside of collage and uploaded them on to the computer. this week i also chose what picture i would have for my back ground and the writing the information on the poster.

background - this is the background i chose for my poster because it has a lot of space round the main picture and it is a clear image of the firework and it is easy to see what it is. It also makes it easier to put other pictures onto it and text.
Week 5 - poster layout
once i got all my pictures and text on the poster i put the pictures and text in different places until i got the layout i wanted.
i don't like this one as much as the others because the writing if going over the picture and the writing has a white out line as well as the picture has a white outline so the writing is hard to see because of the white outline to make it stand out.
this is the design i chose to use because there is no writing going over the pictures and the picture layout is more interesting then just how they came out from the camera .
i don't like this one because the pictures and the text are covering the main picture which is a firework so its not as good.
for this assessment i went on to photoshop after uploading the photos I had taken at a firework display when i went with my friend. I did it by editing my photos on photoshop. I was happy about the layout of my poster and how the photos came out during the event because the photos came out clear and I could use most of the photos i toke and the the layout of my poster i am happy with because it shows everything and doesn't cover up lots of the main background image. If I did this project again i would do a different event which I could get to and take more photos with a camera and not getting them off the internet that someone else has taken this just makes my poster better.
